CandidSky search team welcomes two new specialists
The search team at CandidSky welcome two new members this month. Meet our new Paid Media Executive and new Junior SEO Specialist.
Tahir Rashid - Paid Media Executive
Tahir joins the paid media team working on PPC and paid search campaigns across GoogleAds, Bing, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
His background is in economics and after graduating, he worked for a recruitment agency and got his first taste of running PPC campaigns during this time. This led to him running campaigns for his family and friends and eventually taking a role as a PPC Account Manager at a digital agency.
He was attracted to CandidSky because of the opportunity to focus on creating quality campaigns and to expand his knowledge in paid search.
The most interesting marketing campaign he’s seen lately was Burger King’s augmented reality ad which encouraged people in Brazil to virtually “burn” a rival’s posters. He’s interested in the potential of augmented reality and the use of virtual reality in mainstream advertising.
Outside of work, Tahir is a Manchester United fan with a passion for Marvel movies. You’ll also find him playing Dungeons and Dragons.
James Maxfield - Junior SEO Specialist
James joins the SEO team as a Junior SEO Specialist.
Like Tahir, he has a background in economics, studying this at Masters level. He enjoyed the thinking and analysis aspect of this subject – defining what the problem is, gathering data, and coming up with solutions.
He was impressed with CandidSky’s own SEO – finding us at #1 when he was searching for digital agencies to work for in Manchester.
He joins us after a year travelling through Europe in a campervan, where he enjoyed surfing, hiking, getting back to nature, and exploring different landscapes.
It was someone he met on his travels who got him interested in SEO and he enrolled on a course when he returned to the UK with Google Digital Garage to get him started.
He’s excited to learn from CandidSky’s search experts and become one himself!
